Mr. Y. Rajendra Prasad
Rajendra Prasad is the chief programme coordinator of MVF. He is in charge of monitoring and reviewing all the programme of MVF to maintain standards and also compliance of the commitments made under the project.
He has created a cadre of professional social mobilisers to take on the responsibility to implement the child rights programme independently and democratically in our project area.
In charge of assessing the training needs of M V Foundation for its staff as well as all its stakeholders in each of the projects that MVF implements, he assesses the work of staff members annually.
He is credited with the formation of the institution of ‘Child Rights Protection Forums’ (CRPF)
As the State Representative of NCPCR, he is a member of the State Committee to frame rules for the implementation of the RTE Act, he investigates cases of violations of child rights and also those related to the implementation of RTE, organises public hearings in various districts and also at State level on the violation of Child Rights and implementation of the RTE, mobilises the support of local groups in the conduct of public hearings and conducts social audit of schools, mid day meals scheme etc.

Started work with MVF in 1996 as an education volunteer and has held various positions like cluster organizer, mandal in charge, district in charge and programme coordinator.
He is credited with having spearheaded the programme of elimination of child labour in Nalgonda District and taking the programme to over 220 gram panchayats. Currently he is in charge of the Childline programme in Vikarabad and Tandur and has taken the initiative for formation of Childline Advisory Boards with Government departments at District and Mandal Level. He and his team have handled over 4000 cases of child marriage, child abuse, corporal punishment etc in the past 3 years. He was named as the best social worker in 2017 by the Collector, Vikarabad.
